How is PACKQUEEN able to offer the lowest digital print in the market?

Lets get into the nitty gritty about how our digital print offering is different and can save you money. While some digital printers are able to print all over, in order to give you the best price for branded packaging, we have some limitations. With some minor modifications to our customer's designs, our customers are saving thousands of dollars by printng with us.

Here is what you need to know..

  • Yes we can print in four colours (CMYK)
  • We need to allow clearance from the fold edge of your box of 20mm (with a maximum print width of 280mm)
  • We can print on the top, front, back of the box (we cannot print on the sides)
  • We print on 100% recyclable Kraft Brown and Kraft White cardbord (no coated stocks)
  • Our inks are environmentally friendly

Case Study: How we saved one business over $1500 switching to our digital print?

A business was printing an a4 mailer box through another company a full coverage box including side panels. This business wanted to reduce the cost per unit and came to PACKQUEEN for help. We offered a suggestion that they print their logo on the top of the box and their website address on the back for brand awareness. We helped transition their design over from a full coverage print to a simplified version which include a full colour logo and their website. The end result, was the business save just over $1,500 by moving from their old printing to our new digital print offering. Where are these boxes manufactured?

We manufacture our postage boxes right in our warehouse in Australia. Yes that is right, you are dealing with the direct manufacturer.

What boxes are available?

The first step is that you need to locate the perfect box for you. If you cannot find the size that you are after, email as at or call us on 03 8689 9344 and we can help you with this.

What are the artwork requirements?

For the best printing results your artwork files will need to be provided in one of the following vector formats. 

  • An EPS (.eps) vector file with fonts outlined
  • A high resolution vector PDF (.pdf) file with fonts outlined
  • An Adobe Illustrator (.ai) vector file with fonts outlined

Note: We are not able to print using JPEG, BMP or PNG files. Using these may result in pixelated print

Once you have uploaded your artwork via our Artwork Portal, our team will place your artwork and send you through an artwork approval proof for you to confirm prior to manufacturing.

How fast can I get my printed boxes?

Not only is our Print Option economical , it's also FAST!! can be dispatched in as little as 5 business days from artwork approval*. Ordering from our Made to Order (MTO) range? Orders can be dispatched in as little as 7-10 business days*!

Are these boxes environmentally friendly?

The inks we use in the machine are water based and environmentally friendly. Our machinery has a low carbon footprint. At PackQueen, our cardboard packaging is 100% recyclable and made from FSC certified cardboard. This means that your packaging can go straight into the recycling bin for your customers.

Who are our Digital Printed Boxes not for?

We think our digital print option is great for economic branded packaging, however, its not sutiable for some.

  • Our print is not suitable for all over edge to edge printing
  • Our print is not suitable if you need to print on the side flaps of your packaging
  • Our print cannot print using white ink
  • Not suitable for large solid colour backgrounds or large blocks of colour

How do I order?

Ordering is easy as 1,2 3 (plus 4 and 5)...

  1. Order your desired size and you will be emailed immediately with the die line/box template.
  2. You can either upload your the completed die line to our Artwork Portal OR you can upload your logo and we will place it for you.
  3. Once artwork is received, we will check your artwork and prepare Pre-Production Artwork Approval form for your approval.
  4. Approve your design and we will get printed and advise of dispatch date.
  5. Your order is dispatched and you will receive a dispatch confirmation email.
