Meet: Rosalie Street Art
Rosalie Street Art is a creative studio founded by a multidisciplinary artist with a passion for capturing the beauty of nature, illustrating children's books, and creating heartfelt pet portraits. Through a diverse range of artistic services, Rosalie Street Art transforms meaningful moments, beloved pets, and everyday inspiration into beautiful, personalised works of art.

About the Business
Rosalie Street Art is the creative practice of an artist who thrives on exploring different forms of visual storytelling. From painting natural landscapes and local surroundings to illustrating children's literature and creating custom pet portraits, the business celebrates creativity in all its forms.
What makes Rosalie Street Art unique is the freedom to pursue projects that spark inspiration and curiosity. Working from a home-based studio allows for flexibility, creativity, and a balance between family life and artistic pursuits. While illustrating children's books remains a long-term passion, pet portrait commissions have become a rewarding part of the business, connecting the artist with animal lovers who want to honour their cherished companions through custom artwork.
Packaging Used
Presentation is a key part of the Rosalie Street Art customer experience, with every order thoughtfully packaged to feel like a special gift. Artwork is carefully placed in a protective cellophane sleeve with a backing board before being wrapped in white tissue paper and sealed with a branded logo sticker. It is then wrapped in kraft paper, finished with a twine bow, and accompanied by a handwritten card.
For shipping, Rosalie Street Art uses PackQueen’s superflat white mailing boxes, finished with an embossed white logo sticker. Larger artworks and paintings are packaged using mailing tubes or long mailing boxes, ensuring every piece arrives safely while maintaining a professional and cohesive brand presentation.

Q&A With Rosalie Street Art
What does your business sell?
I am a multidisciplinary artist who loves painting nature and my surroundings. I also have a passion for children’s literature and illustrating children’s books, and I work as a pet portrait artist.
What do you love most about your business?
I can choose which projects I want to be working on and explore whatever inspires me. As an artist, you are inventing your own work and career path as you go, which feels exciting and limitless. I love having my own private studio space and the freedom of keeping my own hours. My current studio is based at home, which is convenient for running a family and keeping the pets happy, though they can be distracting.
What challenges has your business faced?
Maintaining a steady income stream was my biggest challenge as an artist. I didn’t want to ever fall into the trap of painting what I think will sell, and illustrating children’s books is a long-term game that I can’t rely on; it’s an unpredictable industry, especially now that we are competing with AI. I needed a side hustle that paid upfront and could be done from home because I was homeschooling two of my daughters. So I started taking pet portrait commissions and found it most enjoyable. It’s a meditative process, and the customers are a pleasure to work with. People who love their pets enough to honour them with a portrait are caring people.
How has PackQueen helped your business?
I use eco-friendly packaging wherever possible, and I need it to look professional and align with my brand image. Presentation is very important to me. When I’m posting an artwork, I want it to feel like a special gift. I’ll encase the drawing in a cellophane sleeve with a backing board, wrap it in white tissue paper with a sticker of my logo, then in neutral craft paper with a twine bow and a handwritten card. I then place it in a super flat white mailing box with my embossed white logo sticker in the centre, and then I place the box in a padded mailer bag. If I’m posting very large works on paper or paintings, I’ll use long mailing tubes or boxes. I love that PackQueen has so many sizes to choose from.
