I am an artist/illustrator, creating art from my Art-By-Simone studio in Melbourne's bayside area, owner Simone Wolowiec begins when asked to recount how the business came to be. Passion for art began for me after retiring as a professional athlete in 2006. In 2014 I founded Art-By-Simone whilst living abroad in San Diego, California. Using blocks of colour in flat illustration style, I set out to capture iconic images of Melbourne. My original fine art works are painted in oils on canvas and reproduced as fine art prints.
I love the challenge of creating a new drawing and bringing it to life with colour! Simone says when asked what she loves about the venture. Going beyond the usual and seeing new ways to express what we see or experience is so much fun. My artistic goal is to produce art to simply make you smile. Creating personal pieces for customers is one of the most rewarding experiences for me as an artist.
