What do you love most about your business?
What we love most is seeing customers enjoy our products and come back for more. There is nothing more rewarding than hearing positive feedback from people who have tried our jerky for the first time and then return specifically to purchase it again. We also enjoy sharing Filipino-inspired flavours with a wider Australian audience.
What challenges has your business faced?
One of our biggest challenges was navigating the food licensing, food safety and compliance requirements involved in launching a food business. As a new business, there was a lot to learn, from documentation and food safety programs through to packaging, lab testing and council approvals. By taking the time to learn the requirements, seeking advice when needed and remaining committed to doing things properly, we successfully obtained our approvals and launched our products to market.
