The Old Auction House is an independently-owned arts space in the regional Victorian town of Kyneton. The Old Auction House is a hub for everything arts and crafts! It has a handmade gift shop that houses a large range of craft supplies, two rotating galleries featuring emerging and local artists as well as four working artist studios.
We asked Rhain DiPilla what she loves most about The Old Auction House and she has this to say: The way our community has embraced our space and allows us to be part of their stories is by far the most rewarding part of our business. Whether it is a kid's birthday party or a hen's party, a special gift for someone they love, the way a gallery show affects someone or watching that ah-ha moment when they finally understand the new craft skill!
PackQueen's boxes are the perfect addition to our gift wrapping station. We use pillow packs to take the hassle out of wrapping small objects in both our shop and for studio participants to take home their creations, she replied when asked about PackQueen's role in The Old Auction House's operations. We easily embellish them using belly bands of gift wrap, washi tape and curling ribbon along with our space's sticker to secure it all in place. These can easily be made in advance so during busy periods we can wrap sales quickly and beautifully without the stress!
