In Myaree, there's a little bakery that makes custom cakes, cupcakes and other delicious bakes for every special occasion you may need them for. Owner and baker Silvana Krajancic was more than happy to answer a few of our questions so we can put The Cake Nook in our Customer Spotlight.
I was a hobby baker doing cakes, cupcakes and cookies for family and friends. Wanting to get back into the work force but still have the flexibility to be there for my family I started my home business after word of mouth started to create a steady stream of orders. This is my 4th year, she recounted for us when we asked how the business got it's start and how long The Cake Nook has been around for.
We asked Silvana what she loves most about the business. I love the flexibility of being my own boss. However, being a perfectionist can do my own head in sometimes, she remarked.
