We recently got in touch with Helen Turchiarelli to chat about the origins of and inspiration for the business, what makes it near and dear to her heart and how PackQueen fits in all of the hullabaloo.
First off, how did Petite Cookies even get a start? Helen recounts the business' adorable beginning.
Petite Cookies has been in business for the last 8 years. We only make cookies - custom cookies for any occasion, hand-cut and detailed in fondant and we ship Australia-wide, Helen began. We started out when we wanted a cookie favour for our daughter's Communion almost 9 years ago. Unfortunately, these were not popular at the time so we made our own and had an overwhelmingly positive response to them. At our kids' insistence and persistent 'nagging' Petite Cookies was born and the logo reflects our 2 'Petite Cookies'.
When asked about what she loves most about the business, she was quick to answer: Creativity. We love that our customers have faith in us to create a cookie for their special occasion, she gushes. We also love the look on their faces when they see their cookie creations. We are very passionate about our cookie business and always strive to produce the best we can.
As for PackQueen's place in the business, Helen states, We have been using PackQueen boxes for many years now for our seasonal cookie ranges and favour boxes. She's not kidding, too. In 2019 alone, she has purchased a bulk of some of our gift boxes.
