Customer Spotlight - Always Time for Cake

Today, we’re putting the spotlight on a bakery in Epping, VIC that specialises in one-of-a-kind cakes and other delicious bakes for special occasions and celebrations. We got in touch with head baker and owner Kathy Ioannidis to find out more about Always Time for Cake.

 

“I am a self-taught decorator whose passion for baking & anything sweet began with my late mum,” she recounted sweetly. “It wasn't till years later when I had my own family of two boys that I began to bake & decorate their birthday cakes and still do! With many compliments and what-ifs, my dream and journey with Always Time for Cake began. My eldest son even came up with my business name.”

We asked her about what she loves most about the business. “Our business is in its fourth year as of October this year, the one thing that I enjoy about my job other than being my own boss is the flexibility that I have around my family and working from home,” she began. “I love seeing the faces of customers and friends when they see their edible art for the first time especially kids, as every cake or cookie is custom-made with a uniqueness for each customer or friend as a like to call them.”
